Overview

Quick-change bending dies

One of BendPak’s greatest features on their pipe benders is their twist-lock tooling and quick-change bending dies. With it, you’ll constantly be getting great bends each time.

Digital control

Hardcore users will appreciate the convenience of BendPak’s digital control which gives the digital die angle readings right up front. It also features an advanced, programmable mini-computer which is safely enclosed within the front upright of the bender, which allows for effortless fabrication on virtually every original equipment exhaust system. The program data control board manages all bending functions, automatic or manual, and can store up to 99 different bend depths.

180° bending capacity

A pipe bender from BendPak is up to the task of delivering maximum bending capability. They’re capable of bending 170° (or 180° with an optional die), so you’ll get a full U-shape with ease. They bend at a 5” radius: no pipe sticking, no hang-ups. BendPak pipe benders relief cut design is one of the best in the industry and keeps each operation uniform throughout the entire cycle while preventing crimping or deformation.

3" bending capacity with die kit

BendPak’s 3” bending dies are proof that BendPak is dedicated to constantly delivering the highest quality of shop equipment. While they may look similar to other pipe benders, these ones feature a step-cut process for the die rails. Their large tubing is well-contained for more uniform beads. Not only that, but you can expand and flare your tubing with equal ease and accuracy.

Long-stroke bending cylinder

This pipe bender features an extra-long, 14” bending cylinder which replaces pusher block extensions for small-radius die bending operations. That cylinder, as on the rest of BendPak’s lineup of pipe benders, can be retracted even further if you find yourself needing more room to change dies to take out bent tubing.

Clampless swager

A clampless swager comes standard with this BendPak pipe bender. It is capable of putting out more than 30,000 lbs. of force, so your end forming will be fast and extremely precise. Setup couldn’t be easier as you prepare to handle I.D. expansions, O.D. expansions, slip-fits, flares, ball-joints, reductions, and manifold flanges. Quick-release tooling means no old-fashioned vise will be found in the clamp assembly. Each pipe bender is engineered with narrow-hinged collars that drop into position to let the flare tubing ends as close as 3” during bend. The more pressure that gets applied to the clamps, the better their overall grip will become. With this, slippage will never be an issue for you.

Internal segment expander

BendPak’s pipe benders feature a unique internal segment expander which works on I.D. expansions, O.D. expansions, slip-fits, flares, ball-joints, and manifold flanges. They also feature a buttress canister which has a single position setting for all I.D. expansions and can be adjusted for other sizes. A single arbor is used for all tubing sizes 1.5”-3”. Together, the clampless swager and internal expander make end-finishing operations much simpler (e.g., reducing, internal swaging, flares). BendPak’s pipe benders are equipped with a double-ended cylinder for both the clampless swager and segment expander. Stay as comfortable as possible when operating this pipe bender with a single control handle, which operates the cylinder, conveniently placed in the middle.

Electric foot switch

To further increase convenience and versatility, BendPak has included an independent remote foot switch which allows you to conduct manual bending operations while standing in front of the bending head or up to 4’ away from the bender. This is especially useful when handling large tubing. BendPak’s pipe bender foot switches are industrial-grade and are completely covered to keep you safe at all times while using the pipe bender.
