Compare the current Norco powertrain lift tables available from Wrenchers, including 1,250-lb. and 2,500-lb. capacity models for professional automotive service.

Norco was founded in 1964. From the get-go it has been their intention to make the best quality product, offer it at the best possible price, and release it to the professional repair marketplace. At Wrenchers we offer some powertrain lifts. The 72850A features an air/hydraulic foot pump with a metered valve for safe lowering of the load. There’s also a safety overload system that keeps the jack from being used beyond the load capacity. The 72674 offers fingertip control for both pressure and release operations to provide finer control of raising or lowering loads. It also comes with a fully adjustable saddle with two ratchet tie downs secure the load to the saddle.

Choosing A
Powertrain Lift

Start with the load and the work being performed.

Powertrain lift tables are designed to support substantial vehicle components during removal, positioning and installation. Choosing between Norco models starts with capacity, then moves to the control method, load positioning and the requirements of your service bay.

01 Determine the Load

Identify the components you expect to handle and select a lift with sufficient rated capacity for the intended service work.

02 Compare Lift Capacity

The current Wrenchers lineup includes a 1,250-lb. 72674 and a 2,500-lb. 72850A for different powertrain service requirements.

03 Consider Load Control

Look at how the table raises, lowers and secures the load so technicians have equipment suited to their normal service procedures.

04 Plan the Work Area

Account for the vehicle, lift table, technician access and the space needed to maneuver supported components through the service bay.

Capacity is only the starting point.

Verify the weight and dimensions of the components you plan to handle, then consider how the table will be positioned and controlled in your shop. The right powertrain lift should fit both the load and the way your technicians perform the service.
