With more height to work with, this lift does something that most others cannot; it can handle trucks and SUVs in the lower level. This is essential for parking purposes, especially if your lower-level vehicle is too heavy for the runways. A high-rise lift also increases the comfort of techs working underneath. Pulling transmissions and draining oil is safer and easier on a high-rise car lift. You are most likely going to make mistakes when you are uncomfortable. With the increased height you can work comfortably and keep mistakes to a minimum. The HD-9STX maximizes versatility in a car lift that adapts to your particular lifestyle. The HD-9STX sports a narrow design that is meant to fit in the same floor space as the HD-9ST but will require a bit more ceiling height to fully enjoy.
Each four-post lift in the HD-9 series comes with four lifting cables crafted from superior-grade stainless steel. Each individual cable is rated to handle 14,000 lbs. They have a combined rating over 640% of the total capacity of the lift. All the cables are hidden within the lift to not only make the lift safer, but also give it a sleeker look.
