Extended runways

14,000 lb. vehicles have wheelbases that need specialized equipment to make sure they remain safe and supported. BendPak’s extended runways prevent wear and tear on your vehicle. Driving onto the runway is safe and simple for vehicles of all sizes.

Dual-hub cable sheaves

Dual-hub cable sheaves reduce stress, fatigue, and wear. The huge 10.5” diameter cable sheaves within the runway and cross tubes combine with massive 2.25” diameter sheave axles. These cable sheaves drastically improve cable wear and critical component lifespan, which means you’ll end up saving a lot of money that you would’ve spent in service-related expenses down the road.

Heavy-duty aircraft cable

The HDS-14 comes equipped with four, ½” diameter, 6 x 25 stainless-steel lifting cables that have a breaking strength of over 14,000 lbs. each. This aircraft-quality cable was specifically designed for lifting applications. It also sports a perfect balance between abrasion resistance and fatigue.

Built-in lubrication

BendPak has developed this lift to include grease fittings which are located on every sheave and sheave axle to help keep these critical parts lubricated and keep them from requiring constant maintenance.

Flow restrictor

If there is ever an unexpected hose rupture, the integrated hydraulic flow restrictor will provide a controlled descent.

Large base plates

The 10” x 12” base plates will provide a solid foundation for every 14K capacity four-post lift.

Spring-loaded safety locks

The HDS-14 has safety locks integrated which will automatically engage continuously during rise, and adjustable safety ladders which allow for precise runway leveling, including when they’re installed on sloped bars. This is a crucial feature because even small slopes can impact the safe keeping of your garage or service bay.

Push-button pneumatic lock release

A simple push-button pneumatic lock release makes lowering operations as simple as can be. The aircraft-quality stainless steel and aluminum pneumatic cylinders provide years of trouble-free service.

Secondary lock system

BendPak included a secondary lock system in place which is always on constant guard. It is highly unlikely you’ll ever need this feature, but if you do it will make sure that you and your vehicle remain safe.

Integrated design

Components such as the lifting cables, airlines, safety latches, and sheaves are fully encased within the structure. It is always easy to look in and perform a visual inspection, your lift will retain its attractive look by keeping all those components internal.

Adjustable height locking positions

Every column features multiple height locking positions that allow for variable-height parking and infinite leveling.

Electric-hydraulic power system

A maintenance-free electric hydraulic power system will deliver ultimate reliability to your shop. All operator controls are conveniently located within easy reach. All you’ll need to do is push a button to raise and lower the arms.

Longer approach ramps

The approach ramps were designed to be a little longer to assist with loading low ground-clearance vehicles. It’s a little design choice that ends up making a big difference.

Flexible protective conduit

The hydraulic hoses and airline included with the HDS-14 could become a nightmare if not properly managed. ALI inspectors routinely write citations and refuse to pass inspected lifts due to visible damage to the cables. BendPak routes all of their cables through flexible, non-metallic tubing that protects against electrical shocks from worn cables, as well as general wear that occurs from heavy use over time.

Rolling bridge jacks

BendPak offers an optional rolling jack, the RJ7W, which is a great addition if you want to upgrade your four-post lift into a full-service lift. The bridge jacks are used to raise the front or rear portion of a vehicle off the runways, allowing operators to perform efficient wheel and brake service. With a pair of jacks, you’ll be able to have the entire vehicle elevated. Each jack has telescoping arms with frame contact pads that can be extended over the runways and positioned under vehicle lifting points. Telescoping rail supports accommodate adjustable runways with different tread widths. Each jack features three safety-lock positions, as well as stackable truck and van adapter for increased lifting height and better access to frame contact points on high ground-clearance vehicles. The jacks come sporting a commercial grade air-hydraulic pump which requires a maximum pressure of 125 PSI and 10 – 20 CFM.

BendPak’s HDS-14X is a “limo style” which uses 229” runways which is useful for many types of vehicles. It can handle limousines, as well as heavy-duty SUVs and trucks.
