Incredible Truck Lift for Heavy-Duty Lifting

BendPak’s HDS-18E four-post lift has been engineered to make heavy lifting as easy as possible. It has been built to last and features upgrades that ultimately increase safety, durability, and productivity. This is the lift that graduates from the class of mid-size trucks, vans, and SUVs up to heavy-duty applications. This professional car lift can even handle some industrial and farming equipment. It’s also lighter-duty than other lifts in the truck-weight category, so it won’t be overkill when you don’t need to use a full 20 tons of lift capacity when you only need 9 tons to get the work done.

Extended runways

The HDS-18E offers extended runways that are 263” front-to-back to accommodate long wheelbases. This is the first of the heavy-duty models to offer extended runways. All 27K, 35K, and 40K lifts are built this way. The runways feature increased grip and will make sure that the massive tires on the massive wheels will stay put. If the runways get slick, their treaded surfaces will still be able to grab the wheels without damaging or marring them.

Large base plates

​The HDS-18E features 12” x 12” base plates which provides a solid foundation and inspire confidence that you’ll need to work on virtually any-size vehicle up to the rated weight capacity.

Dual-hub cable sheaves

This lift is equipped with supersized 12” diameter cable sheaves within the runway and cross tubes and is combined with massive 4” diameter sheave axles. These design choices drastically improve cable wear and critical component lifespan, meaning this car lift increases your safety while saving you the money that you would’ve spent on service-related expenses down the road.

Heavy-duty aircraft cable

The HDS-18E sports four galvanized lifting cables that will do an excellent job of providing abrasion resistance and preventing fatigue.

Built-in lubrication

Each sheave and sheave axle includes grease nipples that make sure you’ll never need to lubricate the components.

Spring-loaded safety locks

The spring-loaded safety locks will engage automatically during rise, and adjustable safety ladders will allow for precise runway leveling, even if the posts have been installed on slightly sloped floors.

Push-button pneumatic lock release

The steel and aluminum pneumatic cylinders are aircraft-quality and certified to last for years without sacrifice. One push against the pneumatic lock release is all you need to lower the lift release off the locks. BendPak continues to find more ways to give your technicians more control over lift operations.

Secondary lock system

The HDS-18E includes a secondary lock system which is on constant guard and acts as a slack-cable device in the extremely unlikely event of an unexpected cable failure. Although you may never need this system, it will give you peace of mind when dealing with heavy vehicles.

Integrated design

Components such as lifting cables, airline, safety latches, and sheaves are all fully enclosed within the structure.

The HDS-18E features adjustable locking positions that will offer your technicians the perfect height for them to be able to work comfortably.

Electric-hydraulic power system

BendPak has included a maintenance-free electric-hydraulic power system which ensures ultimate dependability. Despite the size of the lifting capacity of the HDS-18E, all of the controls are conveniently and ergonomically located within reach.

Optional rolling bridge jack (two makes a set)

By using rolling jacks you’ll be able to raise the front or rear portion of a vehicle off the car lift’s runways. This will allow operators the chance to be able to perform efficient wheel and brake service. If you use a pair of rolling jacks, you’ll be able to elevate the entire vehicle. Each jack has telescoping arms and frame contact pads that can be extended over the runways and positioned under vehicle lifting points. Each jack includes three safety-lock positions and stackable truck and van adapters that result in increased lifting height and better access to frame contact points on high ground-clearance vehicles. The jacks come equipped with a commercial-grade air-hydraulic pump.
