BendPak’s HDS-27X features 309” runways, making this the first extended-length model in BendPak’s super-duty four-post series. This long and versatile lift is able to hold up to 27,000 lbs. and can accommodate massive Class 7 semi-trucks. There isn’t a whole lot out there that this lift can’t handle.

Overview
Longer Runways for Semi-Trucks and More
Commercial lifting solutions for semi-trucks and other municipal vehicles fall into a category all their own. The reason for this is because vehicles that can reach the 27,000 lb. proportions typically develop monstrous proportions. This super-long lift can easily handle stretch limos, semi-trucks, city buses, and other super-duty vehicles. With this lifting capacity, the HDS-27X should be able to handle a typical garbage truck without issue. A perk of being in the heavy-duty maintenance industry is that your competition is usually low. Most auto shops won’t want to service commercial fleets. They’d need specialized equipment and wide amounts of shop space. If you want to dominate the industry, you’ll need the HDS-27X.
Extended runways
BendPak has equipped this lift with massive 309” runways. In total it’s nearly 27 feet long. The runways are made wide and 60” in the air, so your operators will be able to work on virtually anything in comfort.
Dual-hub cable sheaves
In an effort to protect your investment, each sheave is a massive 12” in diameter. The 4” sheave axles also greatly extend the lifespan of your car lift by reducing the overall wear on the critical lifting components such as the cables, sheaves, axles, and more.
Large base plates
You’ll need some rugged support for such a super-duty lift. That’s why it comes with substantial 12” x 12” base plates which hold up the massive columns on the HDS-27X for maximum structural integrity.
Spring-loaded safety locks
There are many lock positions which will engage as the lift rises, and they’ll instantly release upon descent. Your operators won’t need to maneuver around the lift. The runway movement is kept level at all times thanks to a built-in flow divider. With it, operations in fast-paced shops can go on unimpeded without worrying about the lifting equipment.
Secondary lock system
With two safety lock systems built into the lift, it’s almost impossible for a well-maintained and properly used BendPak lift to fail. But if it does, the secondary system will make sure that the vehicle remains level until you’re able to address the issue. You don’t want to take chances, even if odds are you’ll never need this feature.
Rolling bridge jacks
Bridge jacks raise the wheels above the runways. Models such as the RBJ15000, which can handle up to 15,000 lbs., is perfect for super-duty vehicles. With two jacks you’ll be able to raise the vehicle to allow for full access to the wheels. Two-post lifts give you that access from the get-go, but they’re not able to provide safe or efficient lifting for vehicles of this size. Four-post lifts and rolling bridge jacks are usually the best way to perform wheel service. If you use the jacks, you’ll also not have to use space-consuming machinery.
