Cool Boss CB-28

The CB-28 sports an 80-gallon auto-refilling reservoir, and since it has an abundant water-holding size, it can run for hours on end without the need for refilling just in case you’re somewhere without a garden hose. This evaporative air cooler is capable of providing instant comfort solutions by using evaporation to reduce the surrounding temperatures without needing to consume large amounts of energy. This eco-friendly technology lets you instantly cool down large areas at a fraction of the cost of traditional air-cooling methods. The CB-28 is equipped with four Honeycool™ evaporative media pads which act like a sponge. They soak up water, kind of like a pre-chiller for the incoming air. The resin covered honeycomb allows air to pass through, which then results in evaporation. This phase transition of liquid water to water vapor turns hot stuffy air into a refreshing breeze. The variable fan-speeds and water-flow controls will let you deliver cold air precisely how you’d like to.

Cool Boss has absolutely stacked their CB-28 with features. As part of the COOLBLAST Series, it comes with an 80W outdoor-rated floodlight that is capable of putting out 4000 lumens of bright light. It also has powerful speakers which can connect to the built-in Bluetooth® audio player.

You won’t need any expensive wiring here. The CB-28 operates on a standard household current. Its airplane-like 28” diameter Blue Flex™ fan is powered by a 1/3 HP motor which circulates the air through a venturi fan cone which concentrates the velocity, thereby creating a more powerful and directional whirlwind of coldness. The proprietary axial-flow design of the fan blades can effectively pull gusts of air at low RPMs, then it’ll alter its shape slightly at high rpm’s to reduce drag and increase energy efficiency.
