ESCO has taken significant strides in improving the design of their previous bead breaker tool, addressing key issues to enhance usability and durability. In the older design, the design nut could get damaged during regular tool use. In response, ESCO has introduced a redesigned Sequence Valve Screw with a recessed adjustable set screw. This not only keeps the screw out of the way but also provides a more convenient solution for adjusting the sequence of the bead breaker, especially in field conditions.

The outdated jaw design had a tendency to move from side to side, causing the bead breaker to grab onto the wheel assembly at an angle. This movement could potentially damage the internal rams that operate the bead breaker. This newer model addresses this challenge by introducing an additional “set screw” that securely clamps the jaw onto the pin centrically, eliminating any lateral movement. This enhancement ensures that the bead breaker remains aligned straight, mitigating the risk of damage and improving the overall performance and longevity of the unit.
