The R980XR is great for general repairs on a wide range of tires, including racing tires, pickup trucks and tire beads that don’t have a lot of fight in them. The electric turntable makes tire changes happen faster, and by controlling the speeds, your low-profile and run-flat beads will have time to relax.

You’ll find that most repair shops service average commuter cars, pick-ups, and SUVs. The high-quality RL-8500 combination brake lathe utilizes independent DC servo motors to control the cross-feed and spindle feed drives, thereby eliminating the need for complex mechanical gear boxes and transmissions that you’ll normally find on mechanically-driven brake lathes.
