Ranger's "Jiggle Jack" Simplifies Jack Stand Positioning

The RJS-1TF is a high-reach jack stand which is perfect for holding drive-train or exhaust components in position beneath raised vehicles. This jack stand is very similar to the RJS-1T high-reach jack stand, except that this jack stand features Ranger’s own foot pedal technology which helps to place the stand precisely where it needs to be during service. This ultra-rugged foot pedal will allow you to “jiggle” components for quick alignment. If this feature wasn’t in place, it would be tricky to get jack stands exactly where you want them to go, especially when you’re maneuvering under a car lift. Ranger’s revolutionary foot pedal feature will let you stay upright while you make all of your vertical adjustments by foot, keeping your hands free to horizontally position the lift.

This high-reach jack stand will be your favorite in-shop helper for stabilizing a lifted vehicle. The ACME screw can adjust to heights ranging between 54.5” and 80.5”. The RJS-1TF also comes sporting thick rubber on the stabilization pads which will provide ultimate support. High-reach stands are a staple in any shop that performs engine, transmission, or exhaust removals on vehicles that are raised on a two-post lift. Once heavy equipment is removed from cars and trucks, the center of gravity ends up shifting, which ends up resulting in less-than-perfect balance, or in some unfortunate cases, catastrophic tipping. The RJS-1TF will hold the vehicle in place while protecting you, the vehicle, and the car lift. They’re also a smart way to be able to reach tricky undercarriage components with a four-post lift. All you need to do is place the stands between the runways while the vehicle is lifted and lower the runways.
