Uniweld ULRC14-2 Locking Refrigerant Cap

The Uniweld ULRC14-2 Locking Refrigerant Cap helps protect refrigerant systems from unauthorized access while improving safety and reducing refrigerant loss. Precision machined from high-quality brass and finished with a corrosion-resistant nickel plating, this locking cap is designed for long-lasting performance in demanding HVAC and refrigeration environments.

Designed for 1/4" flare service ports, the ULRC14-2 features a tamper-resistant locking design that helps deter refrigerant theft, prevent accidental refrigerant release, and reduce liability associated with unauthorized system access. Each cap is made in the U.S.A. and permanently roll stamped for easy size identification.

The ULRC14-2 also helps contractors and facility owners comply with current International Mechanical Code (IMC) and International Residential Code (IRC) requirements for outdoor refrigerant circuit access ports.

Note: The Uniweld 70022 Ratchet Wrench with DHVA 3/16" Hex Access Valve Tool is required for installation and removal and is sold separately.
