What’s Your Approach?
Important considerations when choosing a new four-post lift includes measuring the available pull-in length (approach) into your shop, the width (between garage door openings and/or walls) and the height (floor to unobstructed ceiling).
It is also important to note the area coming into the garage (outside the garage door) to make sure there is plenty of loading room. Remember, sometimes vehicles arrive disabled and towed on a trailer or flatbed rig. Or other times a vehicle may need to be pushed off of the lift, to free the area up while waiting for parts and also to allow the lift to be used for another vehicle. Think of how the lift will be used with busy day-to-day operations.
